One we made. Further down, the same ring from the first cut of wax.

What we do.

Everything on this list is work we do ourselves, in the back.

Jewelry repair
Broken chains, worn prongs, a stone that fell out at work.
Ring sizing
Up or down — and you get the scrap gold or silver back.
Watch batteries
While you wait, most days.
Custom jewelry
From your drawing or a photo on your phone. Carved in wax, cast and set here.
Wax carving, casting and stone setting
You can watch all three happen in the six photographs below.
Chains and bracelets
Made and mended.
Re-dipping and polishing
White gold that has gone warm; silver that has gone dull.
We buy gold
Bring it in and we'll look at it with you.
A set of high-karat antique spoons laid out on the bench.

We've never advertised.

We've always run on word of mouth. Google counts 138 reviews on our listing and puts us at 4.7.

Fifteen of them are posted here in full, word for word and spelled exactly as they were written. The other hundred and twenty-three are the empty staple holes. We have not put words in anybody's mouth.

I brought my wedding band to them as it was missing a diamond in my ring they put a new stone in there and polished it very nicely! I actually had my Freemason ring to them as well and it looks Amazing! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for your excellent service!

Andrew provided not only an expert advice but superb service. I took a broken bracelet for repairs and Andrew explained the process easily and researched parts while I was there. Andrew made sure I've got the best price for the repair. My jewelry piece was repaired better than I expected.

…Andrew and his family owned jewelry business have super fair pricing… They have a full team of workers in the back so the wait is usually reasonable… they are great at calling and notifying when products are done. Andrew also called me right away to let me know my items would take a bit longer to order parts… They have also sent me elsewhere in Tacoma if there's something they can't do or aren't great at.

It was a little busy today but once an employee was free it only took him approx 5 minutes to replace a dead battery in my watch.

They did an amazing job fixing my wedding ring. My stone fell out at work and they were able to fix it and make adjustments to it for me. The polish they did on it was incredible too, it was more shiny and sparkly than when I first got it.

I've gone to this store for more than five years. They have reasonable prices and always have the item done when they said it would be.

Miller's is a hidden gem close to Stewart Middle School on Pacific Avenue. I went to have batteries replaced in several watches. They did a great job, the price was reasonable and the owners are very friendly, helpful. I was impressed with the selection of estate jewelry they have… Support local!

I brought this new to me watch in because it was a little buggy… It turned out that the seller had put a battery in that wasn't quite big enough to touch the connection. Miller's helped troubleshoot the issue.

I had my ring resized and they finished it in less than a week. The price was super reasonable, and the work is perfect--I can't even see where anything was added.

You get your scrap gold back when we resize. We call you when it's ready. And when it isn't our job, we say so and send you to someone in Tacoma who does it.

Who you'll be handing it to.

There are five of us, and all of the work happens here in the shop.

Mike owns the shop. Andrew is his son, and nearly five years ago he officially became his father's partner. Three more of us work here, including a master jeweler who trained under Mike and Bob.

4602 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98408(253) 548-0441Millersjewelryrepair@gmail.comWe're on Pacific Avenue, and there is parking at the door.

Or write it down.

Right now it is the phone or the Gmail address. This is what leaving a note at the counter would look like.

A broken chain, a ring that no longer fits, a watch that stopped — whatever it is.

The entrance and the parking are wheelchair accessible, the repairs are done on site, most visits are quick, and we take cards and tap.
